Skate Park

As of 3/23/2020, the Skate Park at Smith Park is CLOSED to the public until further notice.  The facility will remain locked.  Trespassers will be reported. 

The Pico Rivera Skate Park is an unsupervised, above-ground 12,000 square foot concrete skate park located at Smith Park consisting of banks, fund boxes, rails, quarter pipes, ledges, and a bowl.

Hours of Operation CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and during inclement weather

Designated Hours for Youth 12 years and younger: Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Skate Park Rules & Regulation (P.R.M.C. 10.74) Attention Parents and/or Guardians: Skateboarding and inline skating are hazardous recreational activities. The proper use of the Skate Park can result in serious injury or death. Violations of any of these rules is subject to immediate removal, citation, and/or loss of Skate Park privileges. 

  • Skateboards and inline skates only.
  • Bicycles, scooters, roller skates, and/or motorized vehicles are prohibited.
  • Appropriate helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads shall be worn properly at all times per manufacturer's instructions in, on or around Skate Park.
  • The riding of a skateboard in a luge position is prohibited in, on, or around the Skate Park.
  • Wax, lubrications, or similar products are prohibited in, on, or around the Skate Park.
  • Unauthorized pieces of equipment, obstacles, or apparatus are prohibited in, on, or around the Skate Park. 
  • Graffiti, tagging, and/or placing of stickers are prohibited in, on, or around the Skate Park.
  • Food and/or beverages are prohibited in the Skate Park.
  • Spectators are prohibited inside of the Skate Park. Please dispose of all trash in the receptacles.

Skating on City parking lots, parking curbs, and sidewalks and the performance of tricks or stunts is prohibited.
