Can I submit stories or ideas for the Profile?
Yes.  Please send story ideas via fax to 562.942.8773 or email gcastorena@pico-rivera.org.  All submitted stories will be considered but publication is not guaranteed.


How much does it cost to advertise in the Profile?
Unfortunately, we do not allow for businesses to advertise in the Profile.  However, we do announce "New Businesses" in the City.  If you are a New Business that has opened up in the last 6 Months, please download this form "New Business Announcement" and fax information to 562.942.8773.

Can I post job openings for my business?
Yes. Please download this form and fax job information to 562.942.8773.

I saw a story in a past issue of the Profile. Would I be able to get a copy of that issue.
If you know which issue it was, we will be able to provide you with a hard copy if available or depending on how old the article is, a scanned copy of that article as it appeared in that particular issue.

I have not received my Profile in the mail yet, is there a way to view it elsewhere?
Yes. The Profile is available for viewing and printing on our website.

I no longer live in the City, can I still receive the Profile?
Yes. Please submit your name and address to icarmona@pico-rivera.org to be placed on our mailing list.

Where else can I pick up a copy of the Profile?
The Profile is made available at ALL City facilities and the two libraries.

What Newspaper covers the City of Pico Rivera?
The Whittier Daily News is the main daily paper that covers City news.  They can be reached at 562.698.0955.

Is the Profile Pico Rivera's newspaper?
No. The Profile is a monthly newsletter published by the City to highlight activities happening within the City of Pico Rivera.

How can my child enter the Junior Profile contest?
From time to time, the Monthly Profile includes a "Junior Profile" contest.  This contest is open to kids ages 5 to 12. The contest is open only during the month it is printed. Keep an eye out in the Profile…the next edition just might have a contest.

I saw your T.V. crew film a City Event. Can I get a copy of that?
If the event aired on our Cable Channel as a Community Show, you may obtain a copy of the show by filling out a Public Records Request with the City Clerk. All copies are $5 each. If the event did not air on our Cable Channel as a Community Show, more than likely only brief footage was filmed and not available for purchasing.

Where can I get a copy of the Parks & Recreation Guide?
The Parks & Recreation Guide is mailed out four times a year to City of Pico Rivera residents.  It can also be found at ALL City facilities and our two libraries.

Where can I get a copy of the photos from a City event?
City events photos can be found and downloaded from the City's website Media and Photo Galleries from the homepage. Photos are usually posted within one week of the events happening.
