Can I rent the pool?

How much does it cost to Rec Swim/Lap Swim.

  • Rec. Swim - $1.00
  • Lap Swim - $3.00

What activities do you offer?

We offer aqua aerobics, swim lessons, aqua zumba, recreation swim, water polo and we have a swim team.


Is parental supervision required?

Yes, during rec. swim each child under the age of 7 or under 4' tall must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

When and how do I register for swim lessons?

All registrations must be accepted at the Smith Park Aquatic Center. Registrations must be accepted in person and are held on a first come, first serve basis. Click here to view registration times and dates.

When does the pool open?

Early Summer Swim Lessons begin June 1 and all regularly scheduled aquatics programs begin June 15.

Can anyone swim during lap swim?

Lap swim is for ages 16 and up.

What can I wear in the pool?

Proper swim attire is requierd for all programs such as swim suits, board shorts, and rashguards. No t-shirts, basketball shorts, soccer shorts, t-shirts, or undergarments are allowed in the pool.

Can I bring food?

Yes, all food and drinks must be eaten inside the patio area. No glass items are allowed. No food or drink are allowed on the pool deck.

If I am not swimming, do I still need to pay?

Everyone that enters the facility must pay.

Can I bring floatation devices?

Floatation devices or toys are not allowed in the pool. Life Jackets must be U.S. Coast Guard Approved.

Note: Puddle jumpers are not allowed, even if U.S. Coast Guard approved.

Personal floatation devices are only allowed during Recreation Swim for children under the age of 7.

Note: An adult (18 years or older) must accompany child at all times.

What are lap swim hours?

  • Monday - Saturday 7-9 AM
  • Monday - Friday 11AM -1 PM and 4-6 PM

What are recreational swim hours?

  • Monday - Friday: 1 - 3 PM
  • Tuesday & Friday: 6:30-8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 1-4 PM & 5-8 PM

Do parents need to be present during recreation swim?

Children under the age of 7 or that do not meet the height requirement are not allowed in the pool without an adult guardian.

Can I rent the facility for a pool party?

Yes, as long as all paper work is turned in with at least 2 weeks' notice and if times and dates are available.

Can anyone go off the diving boards?

Swim test is required before jumping off the diving board.

What are the age groups for swim lesson?

6 months - adults.

How much are swim lessons?

Swim lessons for youth ages 6 months -17 years are $52 for non-residents and $42 for residents, per session. Swim lessons for adults 18+ are $57 for non-residents and $47 for residents, per session.
