Pico Rivera residents once again have the chance to meet and join with Sheriffs deputies, local officials and their neighbors in the fight against crime during the City's Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The event will take place at the Pico Rivera Sheriff's Station, located next to City Hall, 6631 Passons Boulevard. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and will feature free refreshments, information booths, entertainment, and giveaways. This year’s National Night Out event will honor the late Maria Hicks, who courageously fought crime in our community.
National Night Out is a great resource in building a community partnership to fight crime. The fight against crime is not just the responsibility of law enforcement; but the community as well must take an active role in keeping the neighborhoods safe.
Pico Rivera’s event is organized by the City and the Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Station. For more information, call Lt. Steve Sanchez at 562.949.2421.
