City Hall to Close During Holidays

City Hall and other City facilities will be closed this month due to the Holidays and employee furlough days. Below is the schedule of these closures.

  • Friday, December 21 
    Regular Friday off - City Hall and Parks and Recreation Office Closed
  • Monday, December 24 
    Furlough Day – ALL City Facilities Closed
  • Tuesday, December 25 
    Holiday – ALL City Facilities Closed
  • Wednesday, December 26 
    Furlough Day – City Hall and Parks and Recreation Office Closed
  • Thursday, December 27 
    Furlough Day – City Hall and Parks and Recreation Office Closed
  • Friday, December 28 
    Furlough Day – City Hall and Parks and Recreation Office Closed
  • Monday, December 31 
    Furlough Day – City Hall and Parks and Recreation Office Closed
  • Tuesday, January 1 
    Holiday – ALL City Facilities Closed
City Hall and the Parks and Recreation office will re-open for business on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 7:30 a.m.

Senior Center and Park Facilities
The Pico Rivera Senior Center will be OPEN during its regular hours December 26 through December 28, while the Pico Park and Rivera Park Gyms will be OPEN to the public from noon to 6:00 p.m. those same days.

Park Community Centers that host programs during the Holiday period will remain open only during programming hours.

Public Works & Water Emergencies
Residents who have a Public Works emergency can call the after-hours number, 800.873.2880.Customers of Pico Rivera Water who have an emergency can call the after-hours number, 800.759.5569.  Pico Rivera residents who are customers of either the Pico Water District or the San Gabriel Valley Water Company will not be affected by the City Hall closure.

Street Sweeping / Parking Restrictions
During this holiday period, there will be no Street Sweeping or Parking Restrictions on the following dates:

Tuesday, December 25, 2012
Monday, December 31, 2012
Tuesday, January 1, 2013
