The Pico Rivera Department of Parks and Recreation will begin its Spring 2013 session on Monday, April 1st; with classes in fitness and exercise, culinary arts, and adaptive recreation. Classes are offered for all ages and skill levels.
New for this spring is the Culinary Arts program offering a creative outlet for those seeking food enrichment. Classes include wine tasting, healthy cooking for diabetics, and cooking with your kids. All offer practical experience and a hands-on approach to cooking.
The departments Martial Arts training courses offer a great opportunity for youth to improve their overall health and self-confidence.
The Pico Rivera Senior Center also provides a variety of educational, recreational and social services to those 50 and above. An assortment of courses including fitness, technology to arts & crafts are offered at a low cost.
