Deputies from the Pico Rivera Sheriff's Station will be participating in the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's annual Tip-A-Cop program on Wednesday, May 15 at the Chili’s restaurant located on 8890 Washington Boulevard.
From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., deputies will be taking over for the wait staff during the dinner rush at the Chili’s restaurant. All tips collected by the deputies during that time will benefit local Special Olympics Southern California Athletes. You can also bring in the special event flyer and Chili’s will donate 15 percent of your total food sales to the Special Olympics program.
Tip-A-Cop events are a significant fundraiser for the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, one of the largest fundraising arms of Special Olympics Southern California. All tips are tax-deductible and support sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
