Los Angeles County Fire Department to Host Fire Station Open House Event

Have you ever wondered what's inside your local fire station other than Big Red?

Residents of all ages are invited to find out by stopping by for a visit with their hometown firefighters on Saturday, May 11 for the annual Los Angeles County Fire Departments Open House.

Visitors will be treated to a special firehouse tour as part of the County's celebration of May as Fire Service Month.  All Los Angeles County fire stations will be open to the public between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Los Angeles County Fire Stations in Pico Rivera include:

Fire Station 25, 9209 Slauson Avenue
Fire Station 40, 4864 Durfee Avenue
Fire Station 103, 7300 Paramount Boulevard

The open house event will give residents an opportunity to meet their local rescue team, get a free blood pressure check and learn about all the services the Department has to offer 365 days a year.
