The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is teeing up for its 13th Annual STAR Golf Classic. The tournament, which raises funds to support the Sheriff Department’s Success Through Awareness & Resistance (STAR) program, is being held on Monday, August 5 at the Hacienda Golf Club in La Habra Heights. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled for 11 a.m.
The tournament is open to all golfers, and registration is currently underway. Cost to play in the tournament is $160 per player or $620 per foursome. Tournament fees include a gift bag, range balls, lunch and dinner, awards banquet, drinks on the course and five raffle tickets. Deadline to register is Friday, July 26.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities is also available, ranging from $200 to $5,000.
