Kids who are in grade levels TK through 8th grade are invited to explore their creativity this winter break at the City’s upcoming Winter Art Camp. Campers will have the opportunity to unleash their imagination, make new friends and explore art materials while enjoying fun-filled days of exciting activities. As a bonus, kids will also explore recreational activities such as indoor and outdoor games, sports, and arts & crafts.
Camp will be held, Monday, December 21, 2015 through Friday, January 8, 2016. The camp operates from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pico Park Community Center, 9528 Beverly Blvd. No camp will be held on Friday, December 25 and Friday, January 1.
Fee for the camp is $99 and includes morning and afternoon snacks. A resident discount is available. Campers must bring a sack lunch and wear a camp T-shirt daily. T-shirts may be purchased for $8 each.
Registration packets are available at the Department of Parks and Recreation, 6767 Passons Blvd., and all park sites. Walk in registrations are currently being taken for the Winter Art Camp.
