The Pico Rivera Department of Parks & Recreation will begin its Spring 2016 session on Monday, April 7th, with classes for all ages and skill levels in fitness and exercise, culinary arts, and adaptive recreation.
This spring, our Martial Arts training courses offer an opportunity for youth to improve their overall health and self-confidence.
The Senior Center also provides a variety of educational, recreational and social services to those 50 and above. An assortment of courses from technology to arts and crafts is offered at a low cost.
Aquatic classes kick off on May 31st at the Smith Park Aquatic Center, including a variety of water-related activities for all skill levels from Aqua Fitness, Child and Parent Swim programs, and Swim Lessons. Free programs include a Water Safety Clinic for all ages on Saturday, June 11th and an Aquatics Zumba class for ages 15 and up on Wednesday, June 1st.
In addition to the classes mentioned above, the City offers a large selection of dance, camps, and sports classes for the entire family to enjoy. Course offerings are listed in the Spring edition of the Parks and Recreation Guide available at parks, City facilities, or online .
