The City of Pico Rivera will host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony honoring fallen members of our nation’s military forces on Monday, May 30, at 10:00 a.m. The Ceremony will take place at the Veterans Monument adjacent to the Pico Rivera Mines Library, 9001 Mines Avenue.
This year’s ceremony will also pay tribute to the Veterans who served during the Korean War era.
The keynote speech at this year’s ceremony will be delivered by United States Army Captain, Brandon J. Archuleta, Ph.D. Captain Archuleta is an Assistant Professor of American Politics in the Department of Social Sciences, United States Military Academy at West Point and a Pico Rivera Hometown Hero. Captain Archuleta has received numerous awards and decorations in his 10 year career in the Army and he also holds a Ph.D. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
