This spring, the Red Cross has launched the Sound the Alarm campaign, a campaign designed to save the lives of families by providing and installing fire alarms.
The Red Cross will be hosting a series of home fire safety and smoke alarm installation events nationwide. Volunteers will install 100,000 free smoke alarms in high risk neighborhoods.
The Red Cross will be hosting a Sound the Alarm event on Saturday, June 16 at Rio Hondo Park from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed that day to install over 500 fire alarms at local residences.
