Registration for the City’s Winter Camp program is NOW taking place at Pico Park and the Parks and Recreation Office.
Children who are in grade levels TK through 8th grade will enjoy a Winter Camp themed to Outer Space. Space Campers will work as a team to confront mission scenarios that will unleash their imaginations and will also have the opportunity to explore new frontiers with a field trip to the Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey.
Camp will be held, Monday, December 17, 2018 through Friday, January 4, 2019. The camp operates from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pico Park Community Center, 9528 Beverly Blvd. No camp will be held on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25; Monday, December 31 and Tuesday, January 1.
Fee for the camp for week one is $99, $89 for residents, and for weeks two and three, fees are $79, $69 for residents for each week. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided daily, campers must bring a lunch. All campers must wear a camp T-shirt daily, T-shirts may be purchased for $8 each.
