Dial-A-Ride
Dial-A-Ride service was inaugurated in 1984 using Proposition "A" sales tax revenue. The service is provided at NO COST to residents who are at least 55 years old and to those who are handicapped.

The Pico Rivera Dial-A-Ride fleet includes five comfortable air-conditioned vans. All are equipped with a lift for passengers using wheelchairs. Service is available seven days a week. Full daytime service is offered weekdays; Saturday service is available 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday service until 1 p.m.

Qualified residents may take Dial-a-Ride trips inside City limits for any purpose such as shopping, attending craft classes, club meetings or appointments, among others.

Transportation to locations outside City limits is limited to a radius of six miles of City Hall. These trips are restricted to medical appointments, education or social services (like Social Security) office visits.
Please inform the dispatcher if you will be using a wheelchair. Questions or comments about the service should be directed to City Hall.
