ATTENTION! Due to the current COVID19 situation, ALL LOS ANGELES COUNTY LIBRARIES are closed to the public.
The Library continues to offer Reference Services through email, phone, and online chat. The telephone lines for Reference Services will be available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Teachers, parents, and caregivers can contact Library staff for resources and engagement tips for children while they are home from school. The Pico Rivera Library can be reached at 562.942.7394 and the Rivera Library can be reached at 562.949.5485.
Virtual Storytime is offered through Instagram Live and Facebook Live, Monday through Thursday, at 11:00 am and 3:30 pm. Virtual programming for children and parents will be expanded upon and the Library will also be creating virtual programming for adults and older adults.
Finally, customers are encouraged to continue utilizing the Library’s digital resources which are available 24/7, including access to eBooks, audiobooks, movies and TV, digital magazines, music and more. Residents who do not have an LA County Library card can obtain a temporary 90-day digital library card on the library's website to gain access.
