The City recently conducted its mandatory monitoring requirement per new State guidelines. Based on the most recent results, it was determined that the Notification Level for perfluorooctaniesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanioic acid (PFOA) in the Pico Rivera Water Authority’s (PRWA) groundwater served to customers had been exceeded but was below the Response Level.
