Residents and commercial business owners have probably noticed many changes to their trash bills, bins, and collections; this is mainly because the State of California has required cities to implement specific programs that aim to improve waste diversion (i.e., separating recyclables and organics). The City team works closely with NASA and Go2Zero to facilitate meeting these State mandates and minimize the transitional impacts to the community.
