Madison Capital Group, LLC a private developer submitted an application for the development of a self-storage facility located at 6605 Rosemead Boulevard. The project consists of new construction of 63,066 square feet, four story (52 feet), self-storage facility on a 28,208 square foot site. The development includes seven vehicular parking spaces and three loading bays. Madison Capital Group, LLC submitted an application for a Conditional Use Permit, Zoning Reclassification, Zone Text Amendment and General Plan Amendment. A Zone Text Amendment and General Plan Amendment are required since self-storage facilities are not currently permitted in any zone. The proposed project will require Planning Commission and City Council approval.

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Negative Declaration
The City of Pico Rivera is proposing to adopt an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Self Storage Facility Project. Written comments regarding the proposed IS/MND must be submitted to the City prior to 5:30 p.m. on the last day of the 30-day public review/comment period (March 25, 2022) to be considered prior to the City’s final determination on this project. Should you decide to challenge this project, you may be limited to the issues raised during this 30-day public review period.
