City to Host Drive Thru Easter Eggstravaganza

The City’s Parks and Recreation Department continues its efforts to put on Special Events despite current Health Order restrictions. Last Spring, the annual Easter Eggstravaganza was cancelled, but this year, it’s back, with Public Health considerations.

This year, the annual event will be held at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena for a safe drive-thru experience on Saturday, March 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The FREE Drive-Thru Easter Eggstravaganza will feature a variety of inflatable props, roaming characters, and the Easter Bunny himself as you traverse the small Easter Village. Children 16 years and younger will receive a FREE goodie bag containing candy, plastic eggs, and other surprises. The goodie bags will be distributed while supplies last. Several golden tickets will be randomly inserted into goodie bags. Lucky winners can redeem their goldent ticket for an Easter basket.

To enhance the experience, a soundtrack will be broadcasted to your car radio through a shortwave FM station, 98.5 FM, as you traverse through the Easter Village.

No pre-registration or City residency is required to attend. This event is strictly drive-thru, no walk ups will be allowed. For your safety and the safety of our Staff, facemasks are required so that we can safely distribute the Easter goodies to each vehicle driving through. The Pico Rivera Sports Arena is located at 11003 Sports Arena Drive. For more information, call 562.801.4430.
