The popular Summer Street Fest will once again take over Mines Avenue every Friday night from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. this coming August. Last year, over 18,000 people from all over Southern California came to see, hear, and be a part of the annual festival. This year’s star-studded lineup will not disappoint as they look to keep you on your feet all-night long. Below is the schedule of performers:

August 11
5:15 p.m. Sangria (Old School/Variety)
7:45 p.m. Grammy Award Winner Rose Royce (R&B/Soul)
9:15 p.m. Trinere (Freestyle)

August 18
5:30 p.m. Las Chikas (All Female Salsa Band)
8:00 p.m. Vilma Diaz y La Sonora Dinamita (Cumbia)

August 25
5:30 p.m. Quinto Sol (Reggae/Latin)
7:30 p.m. Special Performance by Mellow Man Ace
8:30 p.m. 2-Time Grammy Award Winner Ozomatli (Rock/Latin/Alternative)

Along with the great music, unique food offerings by local food trucks will give attendees a variety of food to enjoy while at the Summer Street Fest. The summer event will also feature a beer garden, a variety of exhibitors, artisan vendors, and jumpers.

Admission to the Summer Street Fest is FREE with nominal fees for the food, beer garden, jumpers, and other activities.

Summer Street Fest Entrance/Exit – Pedestrian access on Rosemead Boulevard to the event will be available at Mines Avenue and Rosemead Boulevard, Dunlap Crossing Road and Rosemead Boulevard, and the Smith Park Walking Path entrance on Rosemead Boulevard adjacent to the football stadium. Pedestrian access is also available on Mines Avenue from Lindsey Avenue to Passons Boulevard.

Parking – Public Parking will be made available specifically for the Summer Street Fest. Please be sure to park at designated lots only. These lots will be announced prior to the Summer Street Fest and marked the day of each event. Vehicles parked in private parking lots, including the Pico Rivera Library, will be subject to tow. Disabled Parking ONLY will be located at the Pico Rivera Senior Center. Entry will be at Mines Avenue and Passons Boulevard. Vehicles must have a disabled placard or disabled license plate to enter the lot.

Uber/Lyft – Use Uber or Lyft to the event. A designated drop off/pick up zone will be available along Rosemead Boulevard before Mines Avenue.

MTA – MTA Bus Line 266 has a southbound and northbound drop-off on Rosemead and Mines Avenue. For route maps and transfer information, visit metro.net.

Event Arrival Time – Due to the all-day set up of the event, for the safety of the attendees and set up staff, attendees are asked to arrive at the event no earlier than 4:30 p.m. on the event day. Attendees are also advised not to leave any chairs or personal belongings to save seating areas for the Concerts. The City will not be responsible or liable for any items that are left behind, moved for the purpose of setting up, or that are stolen or damaged while un-attended.

Guest Comfort – For the viewing convenience of others in attendance, no canopies, shade shelters, or umbrellas are allowed along the Mines Avenue viewing area. Also, to maximize the enjoyment and the amount of guests who wish to view the concert along Mines Avenue, roping off sections for the purpose of saving spots is prohibited. All seating areas along Mines Avenue are on a first-come, first-served basis. We want as many people to enjoy the sights and sounds along Mines Avenue as possible. For the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets will not be allowed at the Summer Street Fest.

As always, we want everyone to have a fun and safe experience at the Summer Street Fest. City staff, including Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, will be available throughout the event to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
