Entering college for the first time can be financially stressful, among other considerations. Rio Hondo College will be making enrolling in college a bit easier for first-time students with the Rio Promise. The Rio Promise will allow first-time college students the opportunity to attend Rio Hondo College for free for the first two years. First-time students must register for at 12 units and follow the below steps to attend Rio Hondo College:
» Apply to Rio Hondo College
» Complete Online Orientation and Placement Tool
» Make an appointment with a Rio Hondo College Counselor
» Submit a FAFSA or CA DREAM ACT Application
Fall classes begin on August 2.
