Election Results 4

While September has Labor Day, there’s one national day that needs some serious recognition, and that is National Voter Registration Day, observed on Tuesday, September 16. Organized by the nonpartisan group, National Voter Registration Day, the day emphasizes the importance of registering to vote during any election cycle. Registering ensures that your voice as a voter is heard loud and clear at the ballot box.

This day also reminds residents to check the status of their registrations. New residents to the City, or those that moved recently are reminded to update their voter registration. Checking your voter registration status ensures you are eligible to vote in the upcoming elections and that you receive the correct election-related materials.

To check your voter registration status or for more information, contact the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk at 800.815.2666 option 2, or visit their website at https://www.lavote.gov/vrstatus/.
