City Hall and other City facilities, will be closed from F, Dec. 17, 2021 through M, Jan. 3, 2022. Below are the following service impacts during this closure period:
Street Sweeping
Street Sweeping will continue through the duration of the December Closure period. There will be no Sweeper Enforcement F, Dec. 17, 2021, through M, Jan. 3, 2022. Residents are asked to please move their vehicles on their Street Sweeper day to allow for the sweeper to pass. As a reminder, all other violations covered by the California Vehicle Code will continue to be enforced by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Holiday-Trash Collection
There will be no interruption to regular trash service during the Holidays. Saturday commercial trash service will be delayed and will continue on the following Monday. For more information, call NASA Services at 1.888.888.0388
Dial-A-Ride Services
During the City of Pico Rivera’s Holiday Closure, the City’s Dial-A-Ride program will continue to operate with some modifications to services.
Dial-A-Van
Running M–F, 8-11 a.m. and Noon-4 p.m. RESERVATION ONLY 7 days in advance for Dec. 24 & Dec. 31, 8-11 a.m. NO SERVICE on Dec. 25 & Jan. 1. Reservations: 323.721.5666.
Dial-A-Cab
24/7 service. No service interruptions during the Holidays. Reservations: 888.710.3386. For immediate assistance, questions, concerns, new applicants, or replacement of Dial-A-Ride card, call 562.801.5551, M-Th, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Public Works & Water Emergencies Residents who have a Public Works emergency can call the after-hours number, 800.873.2880. Customers of Pico Rivera Water who have an emergency can call the after-hours number, 800.759.5569.
ALL City offices will re-open on Tu, Jan. 4, 2022 at 7:30 a.m.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Holiday City Hall and City facilities will also be closed on M, Jan. 17, 2022 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday. Street Sweeping Citations and Street Sweeper Services will be suspended on this day, Trash Service will continue as scheduled.
