City Officials gratefully accepted a donation of an extremely meaningful gift from Mexico. The Mexican Independence Liberty Bell, “Campana Libertad,” is a symbol of friendship from Mexico to the City of Pico Rivera residents. The Bell was generously donated by the president of Mexican Candy company Dulces de la Rosa, Mr. Enrique Mitchel Velasco. City staff will prepare a permanent location where it will serve as a representation of the City’s cultural diversity and kinship with the people of Mexico.
