
The City of Pico Rivera will honor fallen members of our nation’s military forces at the annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Mines Avenue Veterans Monument.
The morning will start with a complimentary breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Breakfast will be provided to all Veterans, family, friends, and guests of all ages.
The Ceremony will pay tribute to our past and current Veterans for their service to our country and their community. Scheduled for the morning will include the reading of all the names of the fallen soldiers from Pico Rivera and keynote speaker Cindy Rowe, who served in the United States Army and lost her husband while he was serving in Afghanistan.
For those unable to attend the event, the ceremony will be broadcast live on the City’s Facebook page and recorded for CTV3, which will air the Ceremony throughout the months of May and June. The ceremony will also be available on the city’s YouTube channel and on the city’s website via video-on-demand.
