The Office of Sustainability is excited to launch the Summer Eco Challenge for Summer 2025!

This citywide initiative invites Pico Rivera residents of all ages to participate in fun, eco-friendly activities that support a greener community.

How to Participate:

  • Take a photo or video of you or your family completing a sustainable action—see the list below for ideas!
  • Post your content on Facebook or Instagram tagging @cityofpicorivera and using the hashtag #PicoRiveraEcoChallenge in your caption. Residents are also welcome to submit their photos via email to sustainability@pico-rivera.org; the City will feature it’s favorite photos on its social media accounts!
  • Lastly, visit City Hall to receive an exclusive eco-themed sticker. Ask about our other complimentary goodies as well!*
