The Pico Rivera Go-Getters and staff from Pico Rivera City Hall squared off during the annual Go-Getters vs. City Hall Softball Game. After a two-year hiatus, the game took place on Friday, June 3 at Smith Park and featured close to two-dozen staff from various City Departments taking on various members of the Go-Getters teams.
In a 10-inning nail-biter, the Go Getters emerged victorious with a final score of 8 to 6. This annual softball game has been a tradition since 1998, with 23 games now in the books. With the Go Getters win, the Go Getters have a winning record of 12 wins and 11 losses versus the City Hall team.
