Another beautification project in the City is underway that will help enhance some of the City’s medians located along the City’s major thoroughfares.
The Rosemead Boulevard and Major Corridors Median and Parkway Beautification Projects will involve median improvements along Rosemead Boulevard, Paramount Boulevard, Slauson Avenue, Washington Boulevard and Whittier Boulevard. While no actual pavement work will be done, the project will require lane closures and will be phased in order to minimize the impact of construction.
For everyone’s safety, motorists are advised to watch for, and obey the traffic control signs and the flagman’s direction near the work areas.
