The Pico Rivera Library (9001 Mines Ave.) and Rivera Library (7828 S. Serapis Ave.) are open with updated hours and have resumed all regular in-person services. Both libraries currently sell and reload Metro Tap Cards for local bus riders.

In-person programs for kids will be held at both libraries throughout the summer. For a list of events, please visit the library’s website at visit.LACountyLibrary.org/events, and filter by location or event date. Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Registration opens one week before each program. You can register online or call the library to register.

The Summer Discovery Program will start on Wednesday, June 1, and run until Sunday, August 14. Readers of all ages will be able to sign up online or in-person to read books, complete activities, and win prizes. Both libraries will be giving out activity kits for children, teens, and adults throughout the summer. New kits will be available at the beginning of each month.

As a reminder, both libraries will be closed on Monday, July for the Independence Day Holiday.
