Upcoming Elections
The City of Pico Rivera will conduct its next General Municipal election on November 5, 2024, to elect three members to the Pico Rivera City Council. The Nomination Period for the November 5th election will be open from Monday, July 15, 2024, through Friday, August 9, 2024.
March 2024 Presidential Primary Elections
Dates to Remember:
- February 5, 2024 – Vote by Mail Ballots mailed by the County Registrar-Recorder’s Office
- February 20, 2024 – Last Day to register or transfer to vote in the Presidential Primary elections
November 2024 City’s General Municipal Elections
- July 15, 2024 – August 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. – Candidates Nomination Period
- October 7, 2024 – Mailing of Vote by Mail Ballots Commences
- October 21, 2024 – Last Day to Register to Vote
- November 5, 2024 – Election Day

The 2024 Candidate Handbooks for the City of Pico Rivera’s General Municipal Elections will be available commencing July 15, 2024, and will be available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please contact the City Clerk’s office beginning Monday, July 1, 2024.
